Rhythm of Life Music Therapy currently offers a University- Affiliated Music Therapy Internship to students at Sam Houston State University.
The internship will primarily focus in the private setting, serving clients from the age 0f 18 months to 80+ years of age, with a variety of illnesses and diagnosis.
The intern will have opportunities to conduct Individualized Music Therapy Assessments (IMTAP), create goals and objectives for current caseload, co-lead and lead sessions and groups, conduct off site presentations, create visuals, observe other local Music Therapist, observe other professionals, such as Occupational Therapist & Speech-Language Pathologist…and much,much more!
