Kalenn Welch

Kalenn Crane MT-BC, NMT-Fellow graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s in Music Therapy and minor in Vocal Performance. She is a Board- Certified Music Therapist (2009) while having additional training in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) at Center for Biomedical Research in Music at Colorado State University.

Kalenn completed her internship at St. David’s Hospital in Austin, Tx with an emphasis in private practice. Her experience included stroke, tramautic brain injury, parkinson’s, dementia/alzheimers, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum and genetic disorders. Kalenn has experiece in co-treating with Occupational (OT), Physical (PT) and Speech (SLP) Therapist.

Kalenn founded Rhythm of Life Music Therapy in 2010 in Austin, TX. while relocating her business to Houston and surrounding areas in 2012. Rhythm of Life Music Therapy has provided music therapy services in a variety of settings such as private schools, rehab facilities, assisted living facilities and home health setting.

Kalenn enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her daughter, scrapbooking and serving the community through music.
